Title: listener version vs Oracle version

Trying to find out if we have any Oracle E-Business Suite  running on our net. I can scan for
listeners and get listener version. I'm not sure if
that has anything to do with the Oracle version.
Is there some correlation? If not how can I remotely
scan for Oracle E-Business?
