Title: Project Raptor
Post by Pete Finnigan on Jan 3rd, 2006, 6:49pm
I just downloaded this new tool, Raptor, from Oracle's site.
http://www.oracle.com/technology/products/database/project_raptor/index.html
So far what I like is the speed of the application, it loaded quickly and I was easily able to connect to my existing 9i and 10g databases.  I am a little confused as to what the real benefits of the application are.  It seems like it does the same thing as EM but I think it has a nice look and feel to it.  I am sure that it can do a lot more but I have some reading to do.  Just thought I would post the link in case anyone is interested, and I am interested on hearing how people will use the app.
Cheers,
-Jay

Got to post a link to this Q&A in the Raptor/SQL Developer forum

"The password is saved to file in your directory and it is encrypted so saving it is not a bad thing"
