Very funny David, i think the subliminal message should be conveyed to the banks, who creates short passwords/pins nowadays - except the people who control our money!

Jokes aside - the only 4 digit PINs I have are actually for a card.

There's 2 factor authentication straight away:
1. something you have (the card)
2. something you know (the PIN)

unless you're silly enough to write the PIN on the card...

Still - longer PINs would be useful I guess.
