Title: The Adam Martin PL/SQL cracker
Post by Pete Finnigan on Aug 9th, 2005, 8:27pm
I included a link to the Adam Martin PL/SQL cracker on my Oracle Security Tools page a long time ago but probably about one year ago I found that the link no longer works.

I recently found that details of his cracker are available on the web archive site at http://web.archive.org/web/20020602155239/http://home.earthlink.net/~adamshalon/oracle_password_cracker/ but the link for the download no longer works. I have added this new link to the tools page.

If anyone knows where it can be downloaded then please let me know and I will update the tools page or if anyone knows Adam then maybe he would let me host it here. I have emailed him some time ago but got no reply.

cheers

Pete

It seems that Adam has moved to www.lencom.com/desc/indexN2532.html - (broken link) . (thank you www.alltheweb.com). However, downloading the oracle_password_cracker does not work and when clicking on the link to the author, a message appears that some referral limit has been surpassed.

Hi Marcel-Jan,

Thanks for the link. I am not convinced that this is a new site for Adam. If you search on Oracle password cracker (and indeed had searched for a couple of years) you would see that he had the 1.6 version of his cracker placed on lots of shareware download sites. I am not certain but I think that lencom is just another of those. The download link takes you to download.com which is where Adams own site took you to.

The download did not work for me the same as for you..:-(

It would be nice if someone had a valid email address for him, then maybe he would like to host it here.

Thanks Marcel-Jan,

cheers

Pete
