Hi,

There are plenty of free tools that can be used to audit an Oracle database. The biggest over-arching ones are the CIS Benchmark, Rorascanner, Scuba, the SRR scripts. There are lots of smaller tools dedicated to single tasks such as SID checkers, listener checkers, password crackers etc. A lot of free tools can be found on my tools page http://www.petefinnigan.com/tools.htm - also look through some of my presentations on http://www.petefinnigan.com/orasec.htm where examples of use can be seen. Finally a lot of these tools have been mentioned over the years in my blog - http://www.petefinnigan.com/weblog/entries/index.html

cheers

Pete
