Hi, It all depends on your site software as to whether there are already facilities to change URL's. For instance some CMS's and some blog software have facilities to change URL's as part of the system. If you are running Apache then you can also use mod_rewrite to change the URLS's. again depending on your server set up you may be able to control this from a .htaccess file or you may need to do it in the httpd.conf file. The other option is to not create ugly url's in the first place if that is possible. Finally before you make any changes you need to carefully analyse your status in search engines because if your pages are already indexed then you should be careful changing URL's so that the search engine knows its done and you don't use your rankings.
