Security alert released by Pete Finnigan

January 18th, 2005 by Pete

Post to del.icio.us   Post to Furl   Digg!

I have just written a security alert for the bug I found as part of Oracles first quarterly patch schedule release. Oracles advisory is called Critical Patch Update - January 2005.

My advisory is about a problem with being able to use DIRECTORY objects incorrectly within the database. My advisory is called directory traversal. I have also added an entry to my Oracle security alerts page for this new information.
