Oracle's 10g Encryption Feature Is a Fine First Step

I made a note of a nice news article last week written by Charles Garry for eWeek titled "Oracle's 10g Encryption Feature Is a Fine First Step". This is a nice article that discusses the timely arrival of Transparent Data Encryption (TDE) in 10g R2 as part of the Advanced Security option only available with the Enterprise Edition of Oracle. There is a good overview of this technology and a comparison with the old.
