I saw an interesting post on the Oracle global product security blog this evening posted by Matt Moore who heads up the product security assessment team. It is quite an interesting post titled "Product Security Assessments (a.k.a. "ethical hacking")" that gives some insight into what the ethical hacking team do for Oracle.
