New PFCLScan Version 2025 Released to all Customers

PFCLScan 2024 Start Page

We have just released a new version of PFCLScan at the end of last week. This is version 2025. PFCLScan is our database security tool for the Oracle database. There are a lot of changes and fixes to this version of product including some new reports and of course new security checks. We support Oracle databases from version 9.2.0.6 to 23/26ai but the focus is on the supported versions of Oracle of course BUT if you still have old Oracle databases we can scan those as well

PFCLScan is used to perform a detailed security analysis of an Oracle database and is the basis for all of our other products including PFCLCode to analyse PL/SQL, PFCLObfuscate to protect PL/SQL in the database, PFCLForensics to do live response and forensic analysis of a potential breach as well as other tools and project types. All of our other products run as apps within PFCLScan so can utilise its main functions and features.

We use a standard Oracle OCI client so getting connected to any databases is as easy as connecting with SQL*Plus as that uses the same client. We support installation on Windows 10 and 11 and Windows Server versions to 2022 (2025 is not certified with the Oracle database yet).

The software runs on 32 bit and 64 bit versions of Windows and can also be run from the command line to make integration with other tools easy. We have a simple to use reporting system and its really easy to create custom reports in fact reports can be anything so some customers generate SQL INSERT scripts to load the results into SIEM databases.

PFCLScan is a simple to use and powerful product to enable you to get a grasp on your Oracle database security posture. Details of license costs are here.

All current customers have received an email with the new version at the end of last week so watch out for that. Please let me know if you are interested in this product and I will be happy to arrange a live online demo for you

Of course we are also working on the next version 2026 and more news on this soon and what new features it will include
